The Rue Stiic lifestyle lends itself to days spent oceanside, frolicking in the waves, peering through the turquoise waters...

Today, as I sit in my office, I can hear the waves crashing at the point nearby prompting me (well besides wanting to go dive in) to think about the inspiration in the way the ocean moves. The colours it makes (those pastels at sunset, the whitewash, the black rocks that sit against the silver blue ocean during a storm), the fluid shapes and the juxtaposition of the sometimes fast, sometimes slow moment of a wave that is reflective is our everyday style (think dresses that float behind in your wake, white tees paired with a pair of lace shorts creating the texture of the whitewash...) this is what's inspiring us today as we workshop our next range...
